So it´s been some time since I sent an email. Sorry. My new area has been treating me well. It´s a lot more flat than Mauá which is a blessing and I actually live in my area too! My comp right now is a Brazilian from Minas. Which is close to Rio De Janiero, I think. He´s an interesting person. He doesn´t dis-like americans but sometimes he gets fed up with us. One thing I´ve learned to deal with is that Brazilains are prideful and don´t have a lot of respect for other nations. Obviously not every person in brazil is like that but there´s a good number of them that are. But it´s all good. He´s a cool guy. His name is Mike Beâta.
We´ve been working hard. We were able to bring some people to church these past few sundays which is good. We get a lot of help from the church members here for references to go talk and teach to and also for other things. We know a member that gives us free food from his small restaurant throughout the week too.
These past few months i´ve been trying to forget english so i can learn portuguese but recently i´ve had to begin teaching english to people here. I don´t like teaching english, partly because I don´t remember any of the rules for why things are they way they are and also because it´s hard to teach when I don´t know portuguese. Haha oh well. Anyways I love you all, stay safe!
